Divide the estate, not the family.

When a home has to be divided — after a death, a divorce or a break-up — the conflict rarely comes from the money. It comes from a division that feels unfair. Boet gives your family a calm, structured way to divide belongings: everyone takes part from their own iPhone, every allocation has an explanation, and the result is a signed agreement.

How it works

1. Register the belongings. Photograph each item — the app suggests a name and an indicative second-hand value. Everyone approves the values before the division starts.
2. Round 1 – blind interest. Everyone wishes in private. What only one person wants is allocated directly.
3. Round 2 – emotion points. 1,000 points each on what matters most. On a tie, whoever has received the least wins.
4. Round 3 – the draw. The rest is distributed in a verifiable snake draw, played out pick by pick.
5. Balance and agreement. Voluntary equalisation, approval from everyone — and a finished division agreement (PDF).

Built for your country's rules

Each estate follows the rules of the country you choose: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the United Kingdom or the United States. Tasks, deadlines and links adapt — from probate certificates and bouppteckning to Grant of Probate and the probate court. The app guides; inheritance, tax and debt belong with the authorities and, if needed, a lawyer.

Honest pricing

Registering, tasks, the compass and sharing are free. The division itself is one one-time purchase per estate — one price, the whole family gets access. No subscription, no ads, and everything stays in your family's own iCloud.

Common questions

Does everyone need to buy the app?

No. One person unlocks the division for the whole estate — everyone else takes part for free from their own iPhone.

Is it legal advice?

No. Boet structures the practical division of belongings. For inheritance shares, tax and disputes, use the authorities or a lawyer.

Where is our data stored?

In your family's own iCloud. Boet has no server with your content, no account, no tracking and no ads.

Which languages does the app support?

Norwegian, English, Danish and Swedish — it follows your phone's language.
